Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit Sauna Shortlist (“we,” “us”).
What we collect
- No accounts or payments. We don’t ask for your name or payment details.
- Deal-alert emails (optional). If you type your email into a “deal alerts” form, it goes to our email-delivery provider so we can send you sauna and cold-plunge deal alerts. We use it for nothing else, never sell it, and every email has an unsubscribe link. [Before launch: name the provider here and link its privacy policy.]
- Small settings in your browser. The site stores a few flags in your browser’s local storage (for example, that you already saw or closed the deal-alert pop-up, or hid the bottom bar) so we don’t show them again. These stay on your device and aren’t sent to us.
- Analytics and ad measurement: currently off. As of the effective date, this site runs no analytics, ad trackers or third-party scripts. The site can switch on one or more of the tools below. If we do, we’ll update this page and its effective date the same day, and say which tools are active:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google): counts page views and clicks on links marked “paid link” (which link and which page, not what you buy). It sets first-party cookies (such as
_ga), and Google processes your IP address to do this. Google’s privacy policy · opt-out add-on. - Microsoft Advertising UET tag (only while we run Microsoft search ads): records visits and paid-link clicks from ad visitors so Microsoft can measure ad performance. It sets cookies (such as
_uetsidand_uetvid). Microsoft’s privacy statement. - Cloudflare Web Analytics: cookieless page-view counts. It doesn’t track clicks or set cookies.

- Hosting logs. Our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) may process technical data such as IP address, browser type and requested pages to deliver and secure the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Affiliate links
When you click a link marked “paid link,” you leave our site and go to the seller, often through an affiliate network such as Impact or Awin. Those companies may set cookies or use similar tracking to credit the sale to us. Their privacy policies apply once you leave this site.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies on seller sites won’t affect your ability to read this site.
